Michal Kašparovský studied Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic where he gained Master degree in Journalism and Mass Media in 2006. During his studies and later on he was highly participating in all varieties of media industry. As part of his studies he attended several courses dealing with photography under supervision of Marie Kratochvilova and Igor Sefr. Next to this he also participated in vidography and digital media courses lead by David Korinek. His bachelor thesis was a photocover of a modern dance group while his masters thesis was a social film documentary of a non-profit organization Amber in Cornwall, UK. While still at university Michal has held several photo exhibitions.

TV and film industry - Michal is familiar with writing scripts, shooting and editing in Adobe software. He was working for the national Czech TV as a daily redactor and as a color correctionist for several feature films made by Barefeet Films in Sydney, Australia.

Radio - For nearly two years Michal was working for the Czech programme in Australian SBS Radio in Sydney managing the whole agenda (scripts, interviews, mix and presenting). He produced several series and was covering some of the great events (World Youth Day, EURO 2008...).

Press - Familiar with both printed and digital media Michal has been contributing to several newspapers and magazines mostly dealing with music, extreme sports and travelling (Musicserver.cz, Freeride.cz, Koktejl magazine and several others).
